Gee !.!.!. people can really freak out, huh!?
I had 4 kids too and went through plenty of situations where I was even afraid my sick child might not make it, but thank God, 99% of the time, it is just our plain ignorance!. Of course, you wouldn't willingly let your child get to a point where you see him/ her fading away!.!.!. no mother in its sound mind would! And certainly you are doing what you can, as you have already said!. I'm sure you are a caring mom!.
To me it sounds like a virus and no medicine usually heals it, only helps with the effects it has on you!. Last week, my Aussie friend from Brisbane was home sick with something like that and his wife too, throwing up and with diarrhea and they survived, my dear L !.!.!.
Remember, in some cases you should run to the doctor such as accidents and fevers that don't go down, but in other cases, do not freak out as much! And in either case, ask the great physician up there to to help you handle it !.!.!. and everything will turn out just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi,
Every single answer is CORRECT! If he is not receiving medical care by now then you may face:
*Emergency hospitalization with drastic measures necessary to save his life!.
*You may face the fact that you've waited too long and you could lose your son to whatever is causing the body's rejection and projection or from severe dehydration!.
*You could face charges of neglect, child abuse and possibly manslaughter charges!.

I am sorry to be so frank but the above is all not only possible but has happened before and (if this is an example) will continue to happen!.

A parent that allows a child to vomit along with diarrhea for that many hours is playing Russian Roulette with their child's life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

he has either an infection or food poisoning!. give him 7-up and saltines only (no milk) and perhaps light broth!. he MUST HAVE plenty of fluids even if he vomits it all up!. otherwise you're going to have a very dehydrated kid on your hands and this is life-threatening!. keep him in bed obviously and put towels all over to soak up the vomit!. easier than shampooing the carpet (though you'll apparently have to do that anyway)

let us know how it goesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Your son need to be re-hydrated!. Go to the store and buy some Gatorade or even Pedialyte, they even make Pedialyte popsicles!. Have him sip the drink not chug it down!. Lots of rest and spray your house with Lysol to kill the germs!. Sounds like he has a stomach bug or maybe even a food allergy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to nearest emergency room,ASAP !!! SEVERE,PROLONGED DEHYDRATION CAN BE FATAL,ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN! if u dont have money or insurance, dont worry!.if u are inthe usa, emergency rooms are legally obligated to give med care even if the patient cant pay!.go now!stop worrying about how ur house smells and help ur son!by now,he will probably need an i!.v,please go now! ps-re-read it,i see ur in the uk!.dont know about the emergency rooms there, but im sure it will be ok-u really do need to go soon, good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

right now, your biggest concern should be dehydration!. if he is vomiting that much, and has diarrhea, then perhaps he should see a doctor!.!.!.!. like, ASAP!. take him to the E!.R!. if you must!. that much vomiting in such a short period can cause severe dehydration, which will only cause much bigger problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't know, but you better get him to the emergency room and get alot of fluids in him (water)!. If he dehydrates significantly and you don't take him to the hospital, there are going to be SERIOUS problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um your son is dehydrated and sounds like he might need medical attention! He needs to continue to drink water even if he is throwing it up!. He still retains 50% of the fluids and solids he takes in!. I would call his doctor!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree, that he may need some IV fluids!. I would not let him to continue, that can be very dangerous!. ER!. For vomiting, try drinking flat coke!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG and you haven't taken him to his doctor or to emegency yet!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? My God take him NOW!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try buying him some Gravol , it stops vomiting and it worksWww@Answer-Health@Com
