Question: My friend got hit by a car today!.!.!.!.How long would she have to be in the hospital for!?
I tried asking her family but they don't really know either!. All I know is that the car wasn't going that fast!. She just kinda rolled over the hood and her body got banged up!.
Does anyone have any idea how long she would be in the hospital for!?

Hospital stays are determined by the extent of the injury!. If she had broken bones, internal injuries or brain injury, it could be a few days, otherwise probably just long enough for observation 245-48 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on how bad her injuries are!. She will probably get out in a day or so!. Call the hospital and ask for her room - you can talk to her on the phone!. They probably just want to watch her overnight to be sure there are no complications!. I hope she is better soon!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It all depends on if anything got broken or ruptured!. Or if she sustained a concussion!. If it's just a broken arm or leg, they usually just straighten the break, pack it in immobile stuff and send you home!. Same with cuts and bruises, they just fix you up and send you home to rest at home!. If it's a head trauma or if she hurt one of her internal organs but not real seriously, they will keep her in the hospital at least overnight to make sure she'll be safe going home!. If she really messed up her insides, they may keep her in the hospital for a few days or longer, depending on what is messed up and how badly it is!. They do try to get you home as soon as possible!.

It may lift her spirits to know people care that much about her, and although it'd be rough on your to see a human body in such mangled condition, it'd probably be good for you to learn that these things can and do happen!. Plus, people do develop strong aversions to visiting hospitals or learning how to submerge your own scared or repulsed feelings about interacting with someone who is injured/sick; you sound old enough to know what you're doing and should start to learn how to put caring about someone else before your own personal scared feelings!. But it is up to your parents and your friend's parents--often the hospital will not allow non-family visitors!. Hopefully, your friend will walk away without anything more serious then bruises and scraps and a renewed respect for being careful around cars (just because you have the right of way doesn't mean you can stop looking for oncoming traffice--a human body is no match against a car so you have to be cautious), and will be home already so you can visit her at home!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
