Question: Tonsillectomy on Thursday! HELP!!?

I'm 21 years old and I'm getting my tonsils removed on August 21!. My college starts on Sept!. 2!. Will I be okay as I have 3 classes on that day!. Also, how long after surgery will I be able to go home!? I'm assuming it's the same day but about how many hours after the surgery!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

You usually go home right after the operation, usually an hour or so after the anesthesia wears off!.!. You will have a (very) sore throat for several days as the incision heals!. You should be fine before September 2nd!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
