As paramedicgirl said it will still make you vomit!. In addition to the potential problems she listed there's one more- Ipecac is cardiotoxic, meaning it is a poison to the heart!. People have died directly from ingesting Ipecac!.
As to why you're asking, as a health care provider I'd be violating my professional ethics if I didn't ask you, even though I've got a pretty good idea!. You should really talk to a professional!.

It'll still make you vomit!. When you vomit, you lose electrolytes, which you need to keep your heart beating normally!. You also damage the lining of your esophagus because of the acidity of your stomach acid!. Another great bonus to vomiting is rotting the enamel off of your teeth (again, the stomach acid)!. You should never, ever MAKE yourself throw up! In fact, they pulled ipecac off the shelves becasue it was being abused too much by people trying to lose weight!. It's not reccommended for poisoning anymore either, due to all the damage vomiting causes, along with the risk of aspiration (inhaling your vomit)!.
