A paracetamol or codeine based product might be helpful but arthritis pain often needs specialist help!. I believe here in the UK you would be prescribed Co-dydromol or similar or possibly Arthrotec!. Ask the pharmacist what he would advise to get you through today but go and see the doctor!. You should have an x-ray of the hip to confirm diagnosis!. It may be just muscular in which case you would need osteopathy or chiropractic help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
