Scrape on my ankle and going to the beach tommmorow\?!

It it is a surface scrape just keep it clean!. Covering it will probably not do much to keep it clean!. Clean ocean water will help the wound to heal!. Stay out of bay water or potentially polluted areas!. You can get some nasty infections from dirty water!. Just wash the sand off!.

If the scrape is actually a deeper cut and the sand may get trapped deep in the wound then keep it covered!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sea water will help it to heal, though it may sting a bit!. Put a gauze pad with first-aid tape to keep sand from getting in it!. When you go in the water, take it off so that it will be exposed to thebeach water!. When you get out of the water, wipe off with alchohol pad (found in most first aid kits), wipe off with paper towell, and re-aooly the gauze, maybe with some neosporin!. It should have closed up and have a scab by tomorrow!.!.!. but if you're going to the seaside, get it in the water!. Sea water's really good for healing cuts and scrapes - it always does me a power of good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How about some of that Liquid Skin bandage!? It will sting when you apply it, but will protect it nicely and won't come off!. Maybe try a couple of layers (apply-let it dry-apply again), and reapply during the day!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the salty water may help to heal the scrape but when you're back home you should clean it gently with soap & water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get some gauze from rite aid or sav on and wrap it with some white medical tape!.
