Question: I'm having weird pains in my right knee when i run!?
Ok so my left knee doesn't hurt very often,
But my right knee has been hurting for about a year,
I do not know why, It randomly began hurting, I just began icing it tonight,
I am a football player for middle school football,
I really want to play football this season, but I do not want to have to go through surgeries :\
I heard it is something called osteoslaughter!.
Please help,

i grew up with "growing pains" fel tlike shin splints!.!.!.actually something like aleve and icing help if its that but i also had ( and I can't spell it so you'll have to look it up) what sounds like Ausgoodshlastis!.!.!.and a way of telling that is if you have like an egg size lump just below your knee like 2 knee caps!.!.!.!.my bone doctor used to put me in casts like for 3 summers so i couldnt be too physical and then air casts and ice and stuff!.!.!.however now as an adult i torn my meniscus!.!.part of the cartiliage by the knee!.!.!.my new bone md says when people come on and say it hurts here!.!.and then show like a backwards C aside of the inner part of your leg !.!.its is!.!.i've had it now big deal!.!.they do arthroscopic surgery (day surgery,,,only 1 hour in surgery)!.!.on crutches for a week or two and just wrapped up!.!.a little pain they give you meds !.!.but you can't do much activity for about 6 weeks!.!.!.but you know what!.!.better not to get it over with then to be in continued pain and making it worse and then knows what could happen!.!.!.go to an orthopedic doc now!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think you need to give a description of the area specifically of where your knee hurts and the degeree and type of pain- as in below the top of the knee cap, pain level of 4 out of 10 with 10 being the worst and is a burning pain as opposed to a shooting or stabbing pain!. OK!? There are many things it could be with your current description!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
that is OsteoSlaughter is when your body grows too fast for your joints so if your a tall kid it may be or it may just be grwoing painsWww@Answer-Health@Com
