there is a little ball behind my ear (right behind the lobe) and it is constantly hurting!

Is it spongy when you squeeze it!? Does it feel like there's a liquid inside!?
It may be a staph infection!. I had one on my ear once behind the lobe!.
Nasty little sucker!. Required lancing by doctor and followup antibiotics!.
Not sure that the popping and hearing loss is related to the other problem!.
Could be something entirely different like an ear infection!.
You should see your family doctor!.

Do you have an earringng by it!? If so take it out and let it close because you can get a serious infection from it!. Also if you have ear drops left over then use some of them on it because doctors use them for skin infections!. you best bet is to go to a doctor or dermatologistst!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
