I bought a plant of some kind at the local farmer's market last spring that was supposed to repel bugs!. I put it on the balcony!. Then the new landlord replaced my A/C and it wasn't necessary to sit on the balcony anymore!.
So, no, I can't give you details on the plant!. Maybe somebody else can!.

Into a small bottle (25 mls approximately )put some massage type oil like almond or similar - add a 6-8 drops of tea-tree oil if you can get it where you live and add a similar amount of lavender oil and shake it to mix

Here in our country, we burn the peelings of the fruit Lanzones!. dry it first then burn it ^_^ there should be at least half a bucket !.!.!. its very effective!. During the burning process keep your distance from the smoke !.!.!. its not that dangerous!.!.!. but we dont want to inhale CO (<---- not sure) right !? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Garlic raw or in oil capsule form start taking a few days before you plan to sunbathe, works for fleas on dogs, they suck blood too!.
