Question: I took off my cast,but it feels kinda stiff!?
I was wearing my cast for 1month but the doctor said i only have to wear it for 3 weeks to let it heal,I'm supposed to go to the doctors on the 28th but i said to my self,"thats too long"so i just took it off my self ,when i took off my cast!.!.I was kinda walking but it feels kinda stiff!.!.!.is that normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

After your cast or splint is removed, you'll probably need to loosen up stiff muscles and ligaments in your ankles and feet!. A home exercise program of stretching, strengthening and range of motion exercises can help you ease back into your regular routine!. Your doctor can suggest the best exercises for your particular injury or refer you to a therapist who can help!.

It's stiff because your muscles hasn't been contracted in a while!. It takes a while to get used to!. You should have left longer just in case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
