Two immediate possibilities come to mind!.!.!.!.
Either you were sitting in an awkward position which caused a nerve to become partially pinched, or you were slightly dehydrated / low on potassium, electrolytes, or fatigued (lactic acid buildup)!.
I would not be concerned unless this happened often and without exertion!. If this is not an isolated incident, or if these symptoms become more frequent, seek medical attention, this may be an early warning of a serious nerve or muscular problem, such as myasthenia gravis - let's hope not!.!.!.>>knock on wood<<!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry It's normal, everybody does that from time to time!. It happens when your sighing, when aches, or nervous but mainly happens when you are bord and have your leg straight or behind you(when your sitting down)!. It could be that your blood just moving fast and as you rest you might of move your foot and you leg just kept moving automatically!. Just think of like when a dog is happy or when men read the newspaper with their leg upon their kneecap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You were more than likely having a muscle spasm!.!.!.I am a swimmer I have them all the time! They aren't a big deal just keep your leg moving it's no big deal! Hope this helps =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You had your leg in a stressing position so it's normal that it seizures, it will go away!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
