Stubbed my toe pretty hard, numb and bruising...?!

Question: Stubbed my toe pretty hard, numb and bruising!.!.!.!?
Right, so I was walking back from the toilet, I got to the computer chair and I kicked the wheel!. Made a bit of a cracking noise, but it seemed okay!. Now, 5 minutes later, it started to go numb, and it it starting to bruise a little bit!. Anything to be worried about!?

I'm just wondering, because I've never had a broken bone, or anything serious happen to me really, so I'm always paranoid *Eye Roll*Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Probably not a broken bone, you may have jammed it or sprained it though!. Applying ice packs to reduce the swelling and elevating your foot if possible will be the best treatment for it no matter what you did to it since it will help to reduce swelling!. If it continues to hurt, consider getting some athletic tape or some form of cloth medical tape and taping it to the toe next to it for support!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you may have broke it cause i did the same thing with my thumb and at first it didnt really hurt it was just numb and i couldnt move it!. Then 5 mins later the pain was pretty bad!. I also had a lot of swelling!. It may of been a break that part of the bones still attached so you may want to go get cheacked out or you can use tape and tape it to the toe beside it!. To take down swelling and pain use frozen bag of peas or vegtables!. Using a ice pack isnt good cause it applys to much pressure in 1 spot and it doesnt fit the shape properly, also make sure that the vegtables arent stuck togeather in one big bunch jsut bang the bag a lil bit!.
Good Luck hope all goes well :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

no its most likley broken!. the same exact (litteraly, same exact) thing happened to me!. and it was broken!. the thing that completley sucks is that there's nothing you can do for a broken toe!. just let it heal on it's own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
