Answers:
Try placing sliced cucumbers to clean it first!. Then, use some sort of polisporn to make sure its okay!. After maybe four days, it will get scabby and eventually heal itself but it does take time!. If you want to reduce scarring use an oil that prevents it!.
Good luck!
P!.S!. It needs air to dry out and heal so don't apply a bandageWww@Answer-Health@Com

Clean it really good with betadine that you can buy at a pharmacy!. Get some non stick bandages so you don't have to use vaseline!. Put some neosporin or something similar on it and cover it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lose the petroleum jelly, to prevent the bandage from sticking make a donut out of cloth and suspend the bandage over the wound!. Next read and apply http://www!.helium!.com/tm/148271 to speed up the healing process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi, you could try put some iodex or betadine on to it with the help of some cotton and then put a bandage on it!. try it for a few days and see what happens!. take careWww@Answer-Health@Com

i recently did this too, except on my bike!.

i'd say,
get gauze [instead of bandages that seal your wound]
and tape!.
i started with using 1/2 inch medical tape,
but after a while this was too tough to deal with,
so i moved on to neon pink duck tape!.
make sure it doesn't go anywhere near your wound, though!
if needed, re-fold the gauze from the wrapped shape!.
and, don't judge by the size of the box the gauze came in!.
i used 3 inch squares for a wound a little bigger than a quarter!.
the gauze will help keep your wound closed, so it scabs over more!.
absolutely NEVER pick the scab! it's terrible!.
too keep the bandage from sticking, use neosporin on the bandage!.
get the kind with painkillers in the ointment itself!.
if the pain moves to the muscles behind the actual surface injury, take a painkiller like advil or tylenol [i was taking 2 at a time every 6 hours, except when sleeping!.]

the best part of this approach is that it produces a great look--it looks really hardcore and everyone asks!.
make sure to make your story a little more dramatic than it has to be--i was speeding down the street, and suddenly my scooter had a mind of it's own, i tumbled and fell, and i was almost hit by a car!.!.!. these are my battle scars!.

have fun with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
