Question: Is it true that if you die in a dream, you really die!?
I know it's a bit of a foolish question, but it's reassuring to see the answer come from someone else even if you already know it yourself!.

That is false!. Dreams don't influence your actual life like that!. Dreams have been misunderstood throughout history!. They are healthy and normal, and each person has a dream every time they enter R!.E!.M!. (rapid eye movement) sleep whether they remember it or not!. Most people will have multiple dreams in a night because the REM stage tends to reoccur as the sleep cycle continues!. I see dreams as similar to daydreaming!. Sometimes, I notice as I am falling asleep, that my mind wanders to whatever I happen to think about!. I always find my dreams interesting, entertaining, and sometimes frightful, but I always wake up just as I had been the night earlier!. Dreams are just part of the imagination!. Dreams can't kill you!. Although, emotions caused by dreams can have a bad effect on an unhealthy person!. For example, a classic dream where you are being chased can cause stress and fear, which causes the heart to beat faster!. For someone who has a very poor circulatory system (like heart attack victims or those with cholesterol (filled arteries) can suffer a heart attack from the stress caused by the dream!. Obviously, most people can handle that and are unaffected!. I have died in dreams so many times!. I used to have dreams that I have fallen over a railing or that I was attacked by an wild animal or criminal!. Each time I wake up with my heart beating quickly!. So I usually get a drink of water and go back to sleep!. Everybody experiences dreams like these!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
No you shouldn't Die!. Usually what you think about before you go to sleep is what you dream about!. Trust me I was falling in a dream and it never really happened!. I also had a dream of a cookie but sadly, It never came true!. :) Happy Dreaming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
