Would it be okay if I took Advil with my Antibiotics?!

Question: Would it be okay if I took Advil with my Antibiotics!?
In the beginning of this month my tonsils got infected and I went to the doctor and he prescribed me Antibiotics and Ibuprofen, and I finished them and my infection went away but not completely but I felt so much better!. About 2 days ago the infection came back again and I went to the doctor this morning and he prescribed me more Antibiotics, they were a different kind and he said they were stronger!. But this time they didn't give me prescribed Ibuprofen!. I was just wondering if it would hurt for me to take Advil with my Antibiotics since I didn't get Ibuprofen this time because everytime I try to eat and even drink anything it hurts really bad and I just want to relieve the painWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
yes you can Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best answer is to ask your pharmacist if the antibiotic can be taken with anything else, or if you have to wait to take the ibuprofen between antibiotic doses!. Some are just fine when taken together, others are not!.
If the bottle doesn't tell you explicitly not to take with other medication or food or whatever, it's probably ok to take them together!. Best to ask your pharmacist though!.
Now then- the prescription dose of ibuprofen is 800 mg- or four tablets of 200mg OTC ibuprofen!. It's up to you whether you feel that your pain requires that much ibuprofen!.
Feel better- I know it's a drag!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try calling your doctor and asking him/her about it!. You can never really be sure about antibiotics and over the counter medicine because they may result in serious side affects!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I, personally, don't see anything wrong with it but you could call the pharmacist and ask them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
