Answers:
Pain with a general type of burn (1st degree, meaning 1st skin layer) tend to hurt up to 24 hours!. If its hurting any longer than that you need to seek medical attention!.
Keep the ice on the burn, not in direct contact, always make sure you have a tea towel or something similar wrapped around the ice pack you are using!. The problem with burns is that when you relieve the swelling by using ice ect, the swelling returns once you remove the ice and this is where you have the continued pain!. It sounds more than likely that you have a blister from this burn!. Dont pop the blister if you can help it, it'll do it on its own!. Popping the blister can leave and open wound leaving you open to infections and all sorts of things!.
If you really are concerned, you should have it checked by a doctor!. Theres nothing wrong with being on the cautious side!. Because i cant actually look at the burn i cant tell you how bad it is, but i would usually judge it on a pain level and the duration of the pain!. Hope it all works out =]
