Question: Embarrasing health question!.!.please help!?
I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy on thursday (double procedure!.!.!.it sucked), and now I feel like I have hemorrhoids and I have a small amount of bleeding when I go to the bathroom!.!.is this normal!? Has anyone else had a colonoscopy!? what can I do about this, and when should it go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been through this multiple times without sedation!. If you had hemorrhoids, the doctor should have told you after the procedure or if you were sedated it should have been noted on the discharge papers!. If you are passing blood after a colonoscopy, call the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The bleeding is normal, as long as it's slight!. It should go away in another day, or two!. To relieve the sensation of hemorrhoids, stay on your feet as much as possible, sitting will have the opposite effect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should call your GI doctor, they may want to check you out, you should not be bleeding!. It is probably just a small tear in the rectal tissue but I would still at least call your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
