Hello,

(ANS) Taking Paracetamol with or without milk would make zero difference, it would still be effective in pain control either way!.

**The only caution required is NOT taking more than the stated dose!.

False in practice!.
But there is a theory that an alkaline in the stomach reduces the breakdown of foods and lines the stomach wall, therefore decreasing the rate of absorption and thereby reducing the effect of common drugs!.
Given that alkalines are used to alleviate the effects of ingested poisons (milk of magnesia), I myself have never swallowed my tablets with milk!.
On the other hand this is not mentioned on the packet, so I would imagine the effects for this particular drug are negligible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

FALSE!. Taking paracetamol with milk (or food) can reduce the possibility of causing an upset stomach but does not reduce the efficacy of the medication itself!. Paracetamol is not particularly damaging to the stomach but is very hard on the liver!. NSAIDs are more damaging to the stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably all you need to know about Paracetamol(good and bad)will be discussed on Case Notes On BBC Radio 4 Tuesday 2nd September 2008 9pm(Repeated Wednesday 3rd September 2008 4!.30pm)and available around that time on line for 7 days on the BBC IPlayer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not in the slightest!. This is not a drug to play with, 20 taken at once is potentially fatal, causing terminal liver failure!Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is false!. It doesn't matter what you take it with the effect will still be the sameWww@Answer-Health@Com
