What do I ask for when I go for a physical?!
Question: What do I ask for when I go for a physical!?
I want to get a complete physical along with detailed blood work (cholesterol, wbc count, etc!.) I haven't been to the doctor in awhile and I just want him/her to check EVERYTHING to make sure I'm not malnourished and so forth!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

just tell you want a total physical and get ready I didnt think the test would ever end, thought I never would get off that treadmill, my doctor did everthing but ask my shoe size bet nurse looked inside to find size, but you will be very happy and tired but well worth itWww@Answer-Health@Com

unfortunately there really is no such thing as "I just want him/her to check for Everything"!. No such lab tests exists!. yes cholesterol can be checked, but otherwise there are virtually no other lab tests that check for everything!.why would you want a WBC check!?
You want to make sure you aren't malnourished!? are you kidding!? If you are affluent enough to have a computer it seems highly unlikely that you are suffering asymptomatic malnutrition!. you have no doubt seen commercials/infomercials regarding african children who lack enough food, do you look like them!?
fishing expedition labs/physicals almost never help and often do harm!. some of the diseases which can be screened for are cervical cancer (pap smear)breast cancer (mammography), prostate cancer(rectal exam,PSA), colon cancer(by checking stool for hidden blood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
