Purplish scars from cutting?!
Question: Purplish scars from cutting!?
I have many scars from cutting myself!.!.!.I'm currently in recovery!. I have one scar that has been worrying me!.!.!.It's about a month and a half old, and an odd, unattractive purplish color!. The rest of my scars are whitish!. There's no pain or anything, just the weird color!.
Is this normal!? Any ideas of what it might be!?

sometimes the scar tissue colors!. It can be from the excess blood and pigmentation and that stained it!. Over time, it most likely fade, but it could be a while!. If it is bothering you I'd go to walmart or a pharmacy and see if they have any scar cream, I have a scar on the back of my hand and I used the cream and it lightened up and faded!. Good luck on your recovery!. I used to work with girls who cut, its hard, but totally possible and worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
