Question: Have you ever cracked or broken a rib!?
I fell at work today and went to the ER because I was having trouble breathing!. Although they said the x-rays wouldn't show it!. I probably have a hair line fracture in my rib!. They told me to put hot compresses on it and take it easy!. But it hurts like He**!. Couldn't imagine what a full break would feel like!? I guess 4Xs worst!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a hairline fracture palying football as a kid and then took a spill hopping out of a chopper in the Marines and fully "cracked" one!.!.!.both remedies were tape it up and just try to get used to the pain!.!.!.of course you can't play football or jump out of choppers with 65lbs of equipment with a cracked rib, but I did play with a the hairline fracture!.!.!.I could hardly breath it hurt so much, but once my dad taped me up from belly button to under my arm pits it felt better!.!.!.good luck!. Yes I have and it hurts like hell!. My doc told me to use hot and cold compress!. Take it easy for about 4 weeks and don't do anything that requires lifting, bending or hard breathing!. Its been about 4 years and it sometimes still hurts!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yep, a few times!. Makes breathing and any kind of exertion a little painful but there is not much they can do so just try and take it easy and in a few weeks it should mend!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
