I reckon you shouldnt walk on it, i've had this happen before!. I've put my foot under my bottom while i sat in the chair and had it go fully numb on me!.
My teacher also had an instant where she had her foot fall asleep and then when getting off of the stool, broke her foot!.
Give it some time, dont sit on it, try to get the blood flowing back to the leg!.
