I want to epilate but it hurts too much!. I heard you can make your body feel numb and you can't feel anything!.

to make your body numb, I'd advise you to cool down you body!.
This can be done, by taking a very long and very cold bath (ice cubes can help a lot!.)
If their are serten parts of your body that are not numb enough, take ice cubes and rub them (slowly) on the area!.
I did this one when I had a very painful experience with my hand, and it helped to stop the pain!.
