What color was your ankle when you injured it!?
If you were walking around with running shoes on then there's most likely either sprains (ligament) or strains (muscle/tendon)

First, relax your ankle and foot and lift your leg and bend your knees while standing (90 degrees under your knee)!. you can slowly shake that foot around while still relaxed!. If it hurts then there's some ligament sprain!.

If you feel nothing!.!.!.
Stick your foot under the couch and slowly lift it up!. If it hurts then it could be a muscle/tendon!.

Either way, you can keep your ankle supported by wearing certain shoes or an ace bandage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your feet have many bones and sometimes when one small bone breaks, you will not feel it!. The broken bone can also become self-healing!. If your pain increases overtime, you need to have it x-rayed just to make sure you do not have any internal fracture/bleeding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep using ice and stay off your feet -- don't go to the mall!. Stay home, use ice and stay of your feet!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just sprained!.
If it was broken you would know for sure trust me lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
