Painful chipped toe nail what to do!!?!
Question: Painful chipped toe nail what to do!!!?
ah! so i just looked at my big toe on my right foot because it felt like i had a hang nail (if it rubs against carpet you can just tell!.!.!.) well anyway i looked down and i saw that my toe was cracked! it is cracked near the bottom of the nail, in between the middle of the nail and the cuticle!. it is not just cracked a little!. it is cracked almost from the right side of my nail to the left!. again in between the left end of my nail and the middle of the nail!. it is really annoying! i have a band aid on it so it doesn't chip off but the nail is jabbing into the other side of my toe now and it hurts! what do i do!? I would call a salon and see if you can get a nail tech to glue it or do a silk wrap on it!. It will help it stay together until it grows out and it will be less painful that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hahahahaha blown!. If it's kind of long, you can cut off as much as you can so the cut in the nail is smaller; otherwise, there's not much you can do!. Grow some balls and wait for it to grow out, then cut it!. lol!.
although, there are some pain medications you can take!. Take some medicine/pain reliever like Tylenol or whatnot!.
Also, pretty simple: when you're not hangin out with friends or at school/work, don't walk on it!. Take it easy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The band aid is a good idea! I think you should keep the nail in place until it grows out!.
As for now, I would disinfect it with hydrogen peroxide and apply fresh neosporin and a new band aid roughly every 10 hours!.
