I tried solarcaine and aloe vera!.!.!.!.and a bunch of others!. But it didn't stop the pain!. The only thing that did - and healed the burn overnight - was Vitamin E cream!. You'll find it at most drug stores, and look for the most concentrated version you can find!. This isn't a Jergens or something with Vitamin E in it - its straight Vitamin E cream - and get the cream, not the lotion!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get your body under a cool shower as cool as you can handle or alternatively into a bath if that is your preference
Pat your body dry - gently
Ask someone to help you put some aloe gel on your sunburn either from an aloe plant which you pick and split open - or if you don't have one you can buy aloe gel to apply
You will find the aloe is excellent and takes the sting and helps with the redness too!. Repeat the cool shower if you need in a few hours if your sunburn is really bad and apply more aloe!.
If you have no aloe - slather yourself with some body moisturiser such as sorbylene or similar and repeat as necessary - but the aloe is best if you can get it !. By treating immediately you can save yourself the heartache of peeling later on and you will get a comfy nights sleep!.
You can also take some paracetamol if you wish for the discomfort and also drink plenty of water too to help your body cool and heal

I had the same issue a few months back and the aloe, which usually works, didn't!. I took some antihistamine and it helped a lot!. Apparently some people are actually allergic to sunburns!. At worst, it'll help you sleep!.
