Question: My nose is very congested 3 days after Maxillo facial surgery, is it normal!?
I just had an upper jaw surgery, I can barely breath through my nose, the nasal sprays don't do much, the stronger nasal spray makes blood coming out of my nose and I'm scared to use it, what can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is normal!. It is caused by swelling of soft tissue!. the best thing you can do is use a good antiinflamitory, your dr!. could give you something really strong , steriod based or perhaps toradol!. short of that take 6 to 800 mg, of ibuphrophen3 times a day, even if you have pain meds they wont have the same antiinflamitory effect!.sleep propped!.? up on pillows!. I saline based nasal spray may make you a little more comfortable!. drink ice water!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
