Did I get Whiplash or not =/?!

Question: Did I get Whiplash or not =/!?
Two night's ago I went tubing, and my dad was going very very fast for tubing!. I hit a huge wave and went flying!. When I hit the wave [before I flew off], my head snapped back!. It wasn't all that sore the night it happened!. But yesterday and today, I woke up and I can barely move my neck at all with out it being painful, along with my back/shoulders!. My neck feels a little swollen, too!. Do you think this is whiplash!? What can I do at home to make it feel better!? Can this happen from tubing!? Should I try and see a doctor!?

Thanks so much!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeah, Whiplash can happen from any number of things!. Throwing your head back while tubing could do it!. Take some aspirin and rotate hot and cold packs!. If the pain doesn't get better in a day or two, call the doctor, you could have done something permanent!. But it's very normal for you to not be able to move your neck well after a stress to your neck muscles like the stress of being pulled around in an inner tube on water!.

You'll be fine, ice and heat it, take pain medication, and, like I said, if it doesn't get better in a few days, call the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

whatever it is its deffinetaly from the tube, most of that stuff wont hurt the day it happened but the next morning when you wake up it'll kill!. With the tube i used to have he'd floor the boat at 70 mph and when i woke up the next day my whole body, especially my arms were so sore from holding on bc its 1 of those tubes where u lay on ur stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, 'whiplash' is just strained muscles!. You deal with them in the same way!. Rest, massage, potassium, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
