Pain in chest isn't really from singing?!?!?!

Question: Pain in chest isn't really from singing!?!!?!!?
Hey everyone,

I posted a question asking about how to stop this pain I always get in the center of my chest after I sing!. I thought it was because I was doing something wrong, only I have been doing exactly as I have been instructed, plus everything sounds good, I just start having that pain and have to stop!. Well, yesterday I started playing a just for fun game of football in a friend's backyard!. After running for a little bit, the pain came again!. It's like a sharp pain right in the center of my chest!. I am now convinced it's not from my singing, it's something else!. Does anyone have any ideas!? Any help would be awesome! Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could be a ligament strain or some arthritis in the sternum known as costochondritis!. This can feel sharp and of course when your chest is actively moving can aggravate it, as would occur with singing or breathing harder!. The fact that it occurs when using the chest wall seems to point to either muscle, ligament or cartilage irritation!. Try some Ibuprofen an anti-inflammatory, that will calm any internal inflammation and a heat pad on the area!. Use the medicine religiously for about a week and see if that makes a difference!. If it doesn't then you might wish to book an appt with the doctor just to rule out anything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
