Question: Gallstones (what to eat and what not to eat, to stop any sharp pains)!?
doing a essay on different parts of unwanted parts in body!. so my family is all had gall stones, how do you prevent operations, what diet should you be on!. thanks in adavanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had gallstones years ago, i saw a specialist to get it diagnosed as the doctor hadn't a clue what was causing all the pain!.
They did a scan and found it was gallstones!. The surgeon told me, in the run up to the operation, to avoid all fat in my diet as this causes the gallstones to agitate and then they try to get through the bile duct, causing the pain, he also told me that to put a hot water bottle on the right side, will ease the pain, they don't know why but it does!.
Too much cholestrol in the body is one of the causes , so a low fat diet would help prevent them forming!.

I kind of believe that gall bladder disease can be familial!. If you know you have gall bladder problems it is wise to stay away from fatty foods and gassy foods such as those in the cabbage family!. Gallbladder surgery is much less complicated than even a decade ago!. Now it can be done laporoscopically and the patient goes home from the hospital in 23 hours if no complications arise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A super painful thing you are talking about here!. I had mine removed because it was about to burst, pretty much emergency surgery!. I do not know if surgery is optional, some type would be necessary Anything fatty or greasy will be murderous!. Surgeon said I had mine about 8-10 years and had it out when I was 22, they said I was "too young" and it took a year for them to figure it out--- moral, you are NEVER too young!Www@Answer-Health@Com
