Question: Slit my finger open pretty bad!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
How many times a day should i clean it with peroxide!? and should i keep it covered with a band-aid a day long!?!?!?!?!? how often should i let it breathe !?!?!?!? thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

WELL POUR PEROXIDE ON IT AT LEAST 4-5 TIMES A DAY, LET IT AIR DRY, PUT NEOSPORIN IN IT, THEN PUT A BUTTERFLY ENCLOSURE ON IT TO HELP IT TO CLOSE AND HOLD IT CLOSED, THEN PUT A BIG FINGER BANDAID ON IT!. REPEAT THIS 4-5 TIMES A DAY!.!.!.
I WOULD LET MINE AIR OUT WHEN I WAS SITTING STILL WATCHING TV, BUT WOULD WRAP IT BEFORE BED TO KEEP IT CLEAN!. MINE TOOK 4 WKS TO TOTALLY HEAL!. I SLICED T WITH A BREAD KNIFE REALLY REALLY DEEP!!!!

Lay off the peroxide!. That stuff kills healthy skin as well as bacteria!. Part of the reason it foams is because it's reacting with skin fluids!. Just keep it clean and covered with the band-aid!. The neosporin is okay to put on the bandage part, then on the cut- not vice versa!. You only need to do that once or twice a day!. No, the cut doesn't need to "breathe"!. The skin does that all by itself, band-aid or no!. Clean and change the band-aid once a day at least, but not more than twice a day!. If it looks infected, then you need to see a doctor!. You want a cut to look clean and dry, although it will have red edges where it's healing!. It should not be leaking pus or looking wet and angry!. Soap and water should be all you need, and a fresh bandage each day until it's healed, or at least well scabbed over and nearly healed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The white is normal around the cut!.
Neosporin is important to use
When cleaning it I would scrub it out as best you can with an antibacterial soap (unless it starts really bleeding)
Then dry and cleanse with peroxide
Then dry again
Apply neosporin
Repeat this process AM, lunch time, and PM too often won't make sense because you should stick a bandaide on it in between to keep out dirt and infection

i have a deep cut too!. i just have an antibiotic band-aid on it to keep germs out!.
