Why are your ear lobes so sensitive?!

Question: Why are your ear lobes so sensitive!?
Yesterday I banged my ear off a door!. I kicked it open it bounced off something behind it and came back and slapped me on the lug!. Now it didn't hit me that hard but I was nearly crying with the pain and today its still a little sore to the touch!. There doesn't appear to be any bruising either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
the ear lobe has a very high concentration of nerve endings in it - making it more receptive to pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It varies from person to person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
