Question: Antibiotics and diarhhea!.!.!.!.How long does it last!?
I was put on antibiotics for a week and have been having diarhhea (a side effect of them)!. I finished them yesterday but still have diarhhea!. How long will this last for!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I usually get that with the specific antibiotic Zithromax aka z-pak!. With that it usually only lasts for about 48 hours after I stop taking them!. If it lasts much longer than that try taking some Imodium, if that doesn't help I'd call the doctor that prescribed the antibiotics!.
Remember to drink lots of fluids! Dairy products (as long as you aren't lactose intolerant) can also help stop diarrhea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
