Question: Lump formed on my middle finger just below my nail!?
Ok well my finger started itching 2 days ago, my skin where it itched was like a circle of white!. I kept scratching it and it stung but still itched!. Anyway i left it for 2 days and its gone into a solid lump, it feels like its bone or something and it itches when i touch it and makes me want to scratch it!. But it hurts when i squeeze it or scratch it!.

If your right handed and it's off to the left side(or left handed and it's off to the right side) of your middle finger under your nail it's probably a what some people call a writer's bump!. I have that came about 2 months ago when I was doing a lot of painting!. It was exactly as you described it and apparently it comes from doing lots of writing or other things like that with your hand that puts pressure on that area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
