You're on the right track with cold water!. However, using it as an ice pack, allowing it to set on the affected area(s) for a good amount of time - about 20 minutes, every hour!. This - along with very warm baths - is very good for achy, sore muscles!. Using hot water (hot packs especially - or heating pad) along with cold packs is a very good way to ease muscle pain!. If you have a muscle rub, like Icy Hot, Beg Gay or Aspercreme, you can try rubbing this on your body before going to sleep!.

Other than that, calcium plays a BIG part in keeping your muscles healthy and flexible and pain-free!. It wouldn't hurt to take a calcium supplement as it says to do so on the bottle!.

Drinking a lot of water throughout the day is very beneficial as well!. And remember to stretch, stretch, stretch! As much as you can and as often as you can!.

Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Muscles will hurt you for about 3 days, later it will gradually go away!. Of course if you have trainings few days in the week, the pain will leave even faster!.

Basically the best way to get rid of that is a massage to warm up the muscles - what hurts is the lactic acid produced in your muscles when there's not enough oxygen supplied and carbon dioxide removed!.

What you can try is to take a hot bath with couple of tablets of aspirin or paracetamol and dress up warm to keep them muscles warmed up!. That will ease the pain and reduce the time of getting back to health!.

Sit in a tub with Epsom Salt!. Afterward, you can rub some Ben Gay or something similar!.

Another technique is to rub Ben Gay on your muscles then place a heating pad over that!.

Another is to alternate between hot and cold compresses (or hot and cold wet towels) Maybe for about 5 minute intervals!.

Your body is getting tight from the work outs!. Before each exercise session stretch your muscles more!. And after the work out stretch the muscles long and slow!. This will reduce your pain!.
