Question: Help stop self injury plz!?
i used to be a cutter that self injure my self!. but i stopped it like a couple months ago!. Today when i accidentally cut my self while fixing my binoculars and i don't want my parents to know about the cut!. if i tell them that i was fixing my binoculars they will not believe me!. Anyone here got a good excuse for me so i can tell my parents and they will believe me!? no im not going to wear a long sweater!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

As a parent, I can only encourage you to tell them the truth!. If they don' t believe you, show them what happened and how the injury came to be!. Calm explanations and theory should clue them in as to the truth, stay away from the dramatics as that is the first clue I usually get that the truth is NOT what I am getting!. Trust me, my kids have tried it all!. It is better that you show it to them before they notice it because is shows good faith on your part and that you are not trying to hide your injury!.
