how can I make the SEARING pain go away so that I can sleep!?
(already did the ointment thing, and cold water!. Going to a doc or something is NOT gonna happen)

EDIT: Holy CRAP!! Don't put toothpaste on it, for the love of all things! Good LORD!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. All that will do is cause more pain!.
If the skin is blistered and red don't pop the blisters and soak the hand in cool water, take a pain relieving tablet like Tylenol or Motrin!. If you can make it to a pharmacy or store they have pain relieving burn ointment that works pretty well!.
There's not much else you can do!. I'm sorry!. My husband and I are always burning ourselves somehow and this is the best way I've found to deal with it!.
Also, if the skin is bleeding, white, black or scarlet you really should go to the ER!. At that point you're looking at a very bad second degree, possibly a 3rd degree burn that could get infected and cause bad scarring!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try icing your hand!.!.!.
if you cant sleep just wrap your hand
in a towl and fill a bag with ice and lay it over
and try to take the heat out!.!.!.
But Aloe vera will work wonders~!
If you can't sleep,
take a pain killer or a sleeping pill!.!.!.

Toothpaste for the burning!. If you get a scab put Vitamin E on it!. It will reduce scarring!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
