What is a good medicine for Migraines?!

Question: What is a good medicine for Migraines!?
That works and is inexpensive!? I'm currently taking Zomig (5mg) but it's only when I have a migraine coming on, it is not a pill I take everyday, because I only get migraines about once a week!.

I can no longer afford the Zomig!. I switched insurance and now my co-pay is $124 for 6 pills! I was paying $10 before!.

I need something that is cheap but works good!. Please do not suggest Excedrin, Aspirin or Tyolenol!. I can eat a whole bottle of those and they don't even take the edge off!. For now I'm taking 800mg of Motrin, but at once per week it's really starting to mess my stomach up and I'm already on Prilosec because I had Gerd to begin withWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go back to your doctor (or call them) and tell them or insurance has changed and you need to switch to a medication that is covered!. All you'll have to give them is what kind of insurance you have; they know what is covered well and what isn't!. They can call you in a new rx of something you can afford!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get bad migraines and I take a medicine called Maxalt!. I don't know how much you will pay for it with your insurance!. I had to pay like 30$ for 9 pills, but I will tell you, 30$ is so worth it to take a migraine away!. If I don't have it and I get one, it will last a good 2 days!. It works great for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it has gotten to that point, I would go see a neurologist and see what kind of chemistry is going on in your head to cause that excrutiating pain!. Its pretty apparent that medicine is not workingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well as far as prescribed meds; Fioricet is fantastic for headaches, and bad ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
