For shallow cuts: Neosporin 2x/day till it heals
For ones that will likely scar badly: Mederma (this works on old scars too) If mederma is too expensive there this stuff at walmart with the same ingredients called scar gel, it works some-what!. This stuff helped me get rid of several chicken pox scars!.
Also, if you can find Vitamin E gel (or liquid capsules that your can break open) put the gel on the wound after it's scabbed over but as it's still healing, it softens the skin and encourages cell re-growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Umm!.!.!. it hasn't been proven yet, but most people will tell you to apply Vaseline (spelling) onto the wound!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
