Why does my shoulder blade hurt when using a mouse?!


Question: Why does my shoulder blade hurt when using a mouse!?
Every time I'm on the computer for a long time the very top of my shoulder blade hurts really bad, sometimes even the other side hurts!. I have my wrist elevated when using the mouse and key board!. What could it be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Then tension of holding your arm up for extended periods of time cause puts stress on the muscles surrounding your scapula!. It's generally not good to keep your hand on the mouse for extended periods of time!. I tend to do it too!. It's a hard habit to break!. When you're reading something online and not using the mouse that your hand off it and give your arm a break!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Shoulder blade pain nearly always comes from the neck - and in computer based workers it's often your overall body and neck posture that is triggering it!.

You need to spend a day or so really paying attention to your body posture as you type!. Are you slumping forward!? Is you chin down or up!. You could look at changing your chair or your desk top layout

Give these things a try and I'm sure you will notice a difference
