are they redish pinkish
it might be a rash
or a hickey
or a bug bite
i would get him to the doctor
if it continues to get bigger or spreads
but if its starts to go away
it probably isnt much
but first i would get him to the doctor jsut incase

You have not mentioned whether they are painful or not!? From the facts given by you it is difficult to reach a probable diagnosis!. I would advice you to consult a general surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
