What is this sharp pain in my side?!

Question: What is this sharp pain in my side!?
Okay, sometimes I get a sharp, excruciating pain in my side, sometimes right underneath my ribcage, sometimes along the outer sides of my abdomen (both right side and left)!. I know its not a cramp; believe me, i know what that feels like!. It's more like the kind of pain you get when you're out of shape and have been running too long (u know, when u get a "stitch" in your side)!. i only get them a couple times a month, randomly!. they'll come on with no warning!. it usually happens when i've been doubled over (like if im leaning on my knees, etc) usually, it doesn't hurt unless i move, and when i move, the pain is so great i feel as if my guts are being slowly torn apart, or as if someone is sticking a hot knife in my gut!. please help me! im afraid it's something serious! any suggestions are greatly appreciated!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is probably a muscle spasm!. A chiropractor might help!. Little issues like this are good to get worked out while you are young, because when you are older or get another injury, it will be worse if this isn't taken care of!.

A lot of insurance companies cover it and normally if you pay them out of pocket they give you a discount!.

Also if this was your appendix you would probably have a fever and it wouldn't happen again & again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is hard to guess and really medical advice is going to be doing that on here by all of us non doctors!.

Really you need to see a doctor!.

If you were not so young, I would suggest a gall bladder problem but that would only be on the right side!. That generally doesn't happen so young!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be appendicitis!. you gtta go check with the doctor before it gets worse!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
