How can I relieve this neck pain?!
Question: How can I relieve this neck pain!?
Today I was just sitting in my english class and my neck starting hurting!. Its kinda in my back though, where my neck and back meet, I guess!. It's sore all the time, I can turn it to the right and thats it!. If I try moving it to the left, down, or back, it kills into my back!. I haven't done anything to hurt it, didn't get jerked around!. So I have no idea what this could be!. Its not a general pain, its a specific spot in my neck and it shoots down my back!.
Any ideas what this could be and how I can relieve it!? I'm 16!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to your GP if you are worried but here is what I wold do!.!.
Get your fingers round the back of your neck as far as you can and gently rub them on the top of your shoulders towards the arms and not back but always in that direction and then also round the back of the neck towards the front!.
Take care here as there are lots of arteries and you want to check the muscles!.
It could be draft, twisting badly, sticking in one position to see the teacher, or anything!.
Hope I have helped you but if it carries on or you get a stiff neck go and see the GP straight away and no tomorrow as it might be something serious!. I cannot tell at a distance but run to one if you get purple spots or patches on your chest!. I am serious!. GWww@Answer-Health@Com

Take some Tylenol or Ibuprofen, but don't take it all the time!. Make a rice sock!. It helps me out a bunch!.
