Vaseline for chapped lips?!
Question: Vaseline for chapped lips!?
Someone told me that if you use Vaseline on your lips, they become dependant on it and will only chap more often!.!.!. Is that true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

my brother told me that his girlfriend used too much vaseline all the time and her lips became totally dependant on the stuff, because they stopped producing the right things her lips needed to stay moist or something, so she had to go to the doctors and get injections to make her lips produce the stuff again!
i thought it was quite cool and i think she must have used ALOT for her lips to become dependant on it! so dw about it i'm sure it must be really hard to get dependant on it! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had a problem with dry, chapped lips all my life!. Doctors have told me to use Vaseline, and I've also tried many other kinds of chap-sticks and lipsticks!.
I've found that Olive Oil works better than anything!. I just take a little swig from the bottle and some stays on my lips!. It is healthy, tastes good and can't hurt you!.

i am not sure on that, but my daughter has chapped lips so bad and they are really red!. i was told to put anything with moisture on them!. vaseline does not penetrate and only layers them!. you want to put moisture back in!. also use a wash clothe to rub off the dead skin!. have a great dayWww@Answer-Health@Com
