I cant seem to put myself to sleep.. what are some good ways to fall asleep quic!


Question: I cant seem to put myself to sleep!.!. what are some good ways to fall asleep quick!?
I feel like just drank coffee or a red bull but i havent! i cant go to sleep this has been the third time in a row that this has happened to me i've fallen asleep at 3 or 4 am and i really need to get sum sleep because i got school and work and i feel so tired but i toss and turn and i cant fall asleep! i need helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Let me guess, it gets late and you get wide awake!. You keep telling yourself you should go to sleep, all the while looking for something to keep you busy!. Almost like your going to miss something if you go to sleep!. Well, the best way I have come up with so far is to set up a routine!. An hour before you plan to go to sleep, lay down and close your eyes!. Don't eat close to bedtime, don't drink anything with sugar or caffine!. Don't exersize, as that will also keep you awake!. When you start staying awake later, your body adjusts to the time!. If you lean towards meds, tylonel pm or something should help!. If not, try some white noise, such as music or nature sounds!. I personally put my zune on the meditation podcast!. I never have actually stayed awake to hear the end!. Once you re-adjust your bodies schedule, you'll get tired around that time again!. You really do have to kinda force yourself to lay down, even though your mind is on other things!. It doesn't sound like you have insomnia, but if you think you might, see your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Set yourself a routine!. Don't eat or drink anything sugary an hour before bed!. Cut back on caffeine after lunch time and exercise during the day!. If you have a lot to think about and remember write it down!. Don't go to bed on an argument it will keep you awake and if it continues see a doctor to get a referral to a councillor or similar to do relaxing exercises Www@Answer-Health@Com

When i try to go to sleep i imagine myself doing something boring, i always(may sound dumb) imagine that im wrapping a string around my finger over and over again!. Also keep a notebook on your headboard or by your bed to write down anything you forgot to do today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am like that too i find it soo hard to go bed early so im always up until 2am or so so i just read a magazine or stay on the computerWww@Answer-Health@Com
