Answers:
Sounds like the ice bath was wayyyyy too much on your leg!. That cold sensation might have numbed you to the point you lost sensation before you went to sleep, causing your nerves in your joints to be disturbed from the temperature change!. Try putting bengay instead of ice baths, that usually helps that!. You may have over used your leg running since you are not used to it and may have over stretched/ligaments/ joints/muscles!. Not to worry!. Let it heal for a week or so and if you still have problems or it worsens in the next few days you need to put it in a brace!. Next time you run, stretch for twenty minutes!. This keeps your muscles and joints relaxed!. Runners I know always stretch their legs/knees before and right after they are done running!. The same thing happened to me except I didn't do an ice bath!. I didn't run for a few days or until my knee was fine again!. Just need to relax your muscles there and let it heal some!. Overdoing can be overkill and cause injuries!. Remember stretch before and right after you run every time!. I hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How old are you!? Do you regularly run a mile!? Why the ice bath!?

I used to run a lot on the road for distances of over 10 miles and the cummulative shock impact would make it painful on the knees immediately afterwards - painful to walk up stairs!. It would disappear after an hour or so though!.

If you fell over the next day after sleeping!? because of a weak knee it might need building up with gentler excercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
