Pain in lower right buttock?!

Question: Pain in lower right buttock!?
I have a pain in my right buttock right on the lower part towards the center (in the gluteal fold!? ), it started about a week ago after I went clubbing ( was dancing, had sex afterwards but not anal)
The pain has not gone away but instead has gotten gradually worse, the pain only occurs when I lift my right leg up, or bend over or scoot forwards while lying down!. There is no outwards signs, i!.e no bruising or redness, but the pain seems to be within, maybe is muscle related!? It really has gotten to the point where I will go to the doctor because of the amount of pain getting worse but I'm embarrassed and worried!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah it definatly sounds like you pulled a muscle!. The gluteus maximus is one of the larger muscles in your body and the dancing and sex could have definatly pulled something!. Really the only thing to do for a pulled muscle is apply heat and rest the affected area!. If youre constantly walking around and moving, youre only making it worse explaining why the pain is getting worse!. Let it rest for a while and if it doesnt clear up then go to the doctor!. Dont be embarrassed by it!. I've personally seen alot worse injures to the buttox in my career, more then I would like LOL!. We had a guy get a little too friendly with his bedpost and was literally stuck sitting on it!. We had to use a saw to cut off the post and took him to the hospital with it sticking right through the bed sheet!. Now thats something to be embarassed about LOLWww@Answer-Health@Com

I fell down stairs about 10 years ago i had the same kind of pain, went to the doctor and my hip got knocked out of line and i let it go so long it pinched my sciatic nerve, that was the most pain i have ever had in my life, but yeah your hip is probably out of place, go to the doctor and they will just pop it back in, just takes about 2 minutes!. Go get it down don't wait it will just get worse!.!.!.!.!. please don't ever be scared or embarrassed to go to the doctor, they have seen this a million times im sure,,,,,good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is time to see a Doctor, put your health first, and your embarrassment will wait!. Worry will only make matters worse!. Once you explain what happened, and you are examined, you will get something for the pain!. This is a learning experience, and hopefully you have learned from it enough, not to repeat it!. Wheather it turns out to be serious or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably strained a muscle in the glute area (there are several)!. A massage therapist can work on it, a hot bath will relax it and ice pack will reduce swelling!. Aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen are all antiinflammatories!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to a doctor to be safe!.
Doctors specialize in these sort of things, they've seen everything, there is no need to be embarrassed :)
