that, I'm not sure about, but if it's painful you might have a case of Varicose veins!. But if it's just that you can see them really clearly, not that they bulge a TON it could be that you're just lighter skinned!. My cousin always makes fun of me for being so white that she can basically see right through my skin!. Like almost Albino!.
You might want to consult a doctor if it's painful to you, otherwise it might just be some genetic trait!. my dad has that too!. Trace you family lines once, and see if there's anyone else who has that same vein "problem!."
