Question: My acne gel caused me diarrhea!?!?!?!? clindamycin!?
i used a product called duac topical gel on my face for my acne for only few days and i noticed that while i was on it i got diarrhea and it has been 5-6 days since i last used it and my stomach is still acting up!. yesterday i ate alot and i woke up in the middle of the night with terrible cramping and whenever i wake up in the morning i have diarrhea now so i was wondering should i go to the doctor or will this go away on its own!? also, i read that yogurt can help!.!.what should i do!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is quite unlikely that something you use externally would give you diarrhea!. Diarrhea is mainly caused by parasites in your system!. Your need to drink a lot of fruit juices and raw vegetable juices and pure water!. The water will rehydrate your system!.
Include carrot juice and green vegetable juices!.
Flavor your vegetable juice with ginger and lime or lemon!.
Also have up to 3 cups of ginger steeped with hot water per day!.
Eat yogurt and other soured products daily!. High fiber diet is also important!. If the diarrhea does not stop within 2 days, go to see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I doubt the acne gel gave you diarrhea!. it sounds like you have some other issue that started at the same time you started using the gel, which I'm almost positive didn't give you diarrhea for a week (unless you ate it)!. drink a lot of water!. If you've had stomach problems for a week, go to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
