I've been feeling different lately, is there anything wrong with me?!

Question: I've been feeling different lately, is there anything wrong with me!?
I'm a vegetarian and six months after I became one, I started feeling really hungry, and not just the normal hungry that makes one's stomach rumble!. This was right before lacrosse season (the sport I play) and it didn't seem to go away!. It got better over the summer because I didn't notice it as much!. (this is all at about the beginning of this year) then field hockey started and the hunger thing got worse again and this time I started getting really thirsty!. My weight has been going up and down all year (down five pounds then up five pounds then up five more pounds) and some of the really bad bruises i got from lax season are still on my legs, less noticeable but still there!. Even my ankle is still a tiny bit swollen but not enough to really notice!. Now all of a sudden I'm have the hunger pains but I don't want to eat, nothing seems to be what I want and milk started grossing me out and now I mostly drink orange juice!. Also sometimes it seems like i have a thick film over my eyes that makes my sight really water-blurry but blinking helps it go away!. Could this be because of lack of protein and playing sports or is it something more!? Also sometimes I get sick right after eating sugury foods and have a stomach ache for about a half an hour or more but it doesn't happen all the time!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
lack of protein is one of the biggest problems for a vegetarian!. I don't know if you like but you should be eating tofu, nuts (Especially almonds) and other soy products!. If it's possible for you to consider eating a egg, it would be very beneficial as it is the most clean source of protein there is!. You need to have both protein and fatty acids!. Start adding these to your diet and see if this doesn't Change your hunger!. Your body is trying to tell you it needs something more than it's getting!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe your not getting enough protein!.!. your probally not eating enough food!. try eating more filling foods and drinking more!.!. like V8, and life water!. try a balanced diet beacuse of your weight dropping and going up!. eat the same amount of food each day!. dont eat braley nothing one day, then a lot the next day!. Yeah, you probably aren't getting enough protein and iron!. I'm not sure whether you are male or female, I'm guessing male, but my brothers girlfriend has been vegetarian for a couple years now and since she isn't getting enough protein, her hair is becoming thinner and its starting to fall out!. You need lots of protein, especially if you are active and still growing!. Protein is like your energy fuel, without it, you get tired, hungry!.!.!.

Protein also fills you up, for example if you just ate a plain bagel with nothing on it, you will be hungry in a little while, but if you ate a bagel with peanut butter on it, it should hold you more than plain!.

You can still get enough protein without eating meat!. You just have to find other ways!. Try eating more beans!. There are endless amounts of bean salads you could make, and a lot of them are delicious! Try getting as much protein in your diet as you can!. Even if you have to buy protein powder and put it into your drinks!.

Try drinking lots of water too!. Another good drink is just a fruit smoothie!. What you do is take frozen fruit (you can buy it at the store), and put it in the blender--add a little bit of juice (any kind you want) and mix it up!. That's all you have to do and it tastes wonderful!. I have one almost everyday!. And if you make that, you could put protein powder in that!.

Good luck, hope everything gets better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
